TODAY WE bring you the first installation of our Behind the Tanlines video series, beginning with our first location shoot of the 2014 Swimsuit Issue season in the natural turquoise pools of Brazilian national park Lençóis Maranhenses. The shoot featured two veterans (Anne V in her tenth SI Swimsuit appearance, and Natasha Barnard) and two Rookies (Nederlanders Bregje Heinen and Valerie van der Graaf), as well as the trusty eye of longtime Swimsuit photographer Raphael Mazzucco.
Watch magic get made as Anne imitates someone's crazy aunt, and then is subjected to aural surgery at the untrained hands of editor MJ Day, Darcie Baum investigates the mystery of the gorgeous butt and Raphael demonstrates what a pose in a canoe should look like.
